I noticed that you wrote about the coal mines on the south side of Newcastle Rd in Jesmond. However I am interested to know if there was any coal mining on the north side of the Newcastle Road in Jesmond. In particular I am interested to know if there was any coal mining under St Margaret’s Jesmond property.
